Paid Media: Google Ads

Objective
Autoplumb wanted to increase online revenue through paid advertising while keeping ad spend efficient. The goal was to reach high-intent customers and generate a return of at least 2x the ad budget by advertising across Google’s platforms.
My Role
As the marketing intern, I was responsible for building and managing a Google Performance Max campaign that ran across Search, Display, YouTube, and Gmail. I set up campaign targeting, wrote headlines and descriptions, and monitored performance daily using Google Analytics and Shopify.

What I Learned
This project gave me hands-on experience in paid media strategy, data analysis, and performance optimization. I learned how to interpret multi-channel analytics, adjust spend based on performance trends, and contribute to real business outcomes through digital marketing.

I managed a series of email campaigns for AutoPlumb focused on customer retention and sales growth. These included post-purchase thank you emails, upsell offers, and abandoned checkout/product browse recovery emails. Each campaign was tailored to re-engage customers, highlight key products, and encourage repeat purchases.
